What a Doll

Hello all!

I decided to upload some of my traditional work because I am so damn lazy when it comes to digital. So, here is traditional work number one.

About the piece: This is one of my grandmother's dolls from her immensely creepy doll room. *I love dolls* This is part of a three drawing project I did for my drawing 2 class. I actually have little experience with charcoal, so this drawing came out well despite my skill with the medium. I did have meaning behind my drawings (the theme of loneliness or emptiness in certain people, this one being a bully), but it isn't too crucial to the piece. I actually like it when people apply their own meaning.

Materials:
16"x20" normal drawing paper (untextured)
Black and white charcoal sticks and pencils
Blending sticks and stumps
Q-tips and tissues for blending
Kneaded and sharpened erasers

More traditional work to come.^^
